Harmonic Mosaic Music

Desire + Discipline = Success

Harmonic Mosaic Music was created by  Educator Lisa Norris in the spring of 2000 in Minneapolis Minnesota.  She started playing guitar at the age of 10, and her love of music transferred over to her love for teaching.  She has been a teacher for over 15 years, and has taught personally over 350 students how to play music through the Harmonic Mosaic Music program. Lisa has held many teaching positions throughout the years, and has worked everywhere from Montessori's to private schools. She moved to Los Angeles California in August of 2003 and held her guitar lessons there until September of 2008 where she moved to her present Beaverton Oregon location. She also acts as a referral service for other teachers. Currently she is performing in an acoustic duo called "The Auroras" She is a songwriter, and has a publishing company through [ASCAP] American Society Of Composers, Authors, And Publishers. Her songs have been played on many commercial and college radio stations all over the world.

Why Choose us?

We found Lisa through Craig's list to teach our two boys guitar. She comes to our house which is incredibly convenient, is always on time and really great with our boys. It is clear she loves what she is doing and our kids are having fun and learning quickly as a result.

I like learning from Lisa because she makes it easy. She also can sing and play along when she is teaching me songs which makes it easier to learn. I like to be able to have lessons at home. Lisa is teaching me some cool songs. She makes learning guitar pretty easy.

I tried many times to learn guitar, but with Harmonic Mosaic, it was easy.

My son loves his lessons so much, he is practicing all the time instead of playing video games.
Janet Anderson, Mpls. MN,

My two teen girls wanted to play guitar. That means two guitars at double the cost!  Thanks Lisa for the family discount.

My son was getting voice lessons for a school play, Lisa told us because his voice was changing constantly, it would be very difficult for him to hold down the key.  We took bass lessons instead. We really appreciate your honesty, it saved us a lot of time and money.

We had to go out of town for a business meeting and wanted our kids to go with us.  We were afraid we would get charged for missing the time. Lisa said no problem we can reschedule.
